The focus of this clip is to demonstrate how minimalism in sound design and composition can be used to convey a sense of sorrow and emotionaly engage the viewer in the nerrative.

In this clip I use pulsing synths, Modulating delays and sweeping sine waves to convey the sense of vertigo that the character is experiencing. The final piano hit forshadows the dark and dramatic events to come.

Here i focused on letting the environment speak for itself, conveying a sense of openness and size while also forcing the player to pay attention to his surroundings. The evolving score follows the players progression and foreshadows the epic battle to come.

Welcome to the suck! The sound design in this clip is aimed to enhance the violence and chaos of battle, and give the player a sense of the weight and size of the machines.

In this final sequence, I revert back to minimalism to engage the viewer in the nerative while enhancing the mood and feel of the story. The score reflects the tension, sorrow, and apprehension of the character.
